I, Robot
For many years, an adaptation of Isaac Asimov's classic collection of short stories "I, Robot", had bounced around Hollywood without much progress; but in 2004, a big budget action film starring Will Smith made it to the big screen. Was this a faithful adaption of the source material, or a generic action movie piggy-backing off of the source material's notoriety?
